Stories of the Indian restaurant industry needs to be told from the point of those who lived it, worked in it and suffered to it - such as the chefs, waiters and owners of this trade.
Curry Stories will bring to you real life experiences, taste of the food, and working conditions in which the food has been produced.
This industry is dynamic, ever evolving and authentic. It may not be of surprise to anyone that over 80% of Indian restaurants are owned and managed by Bangladeshis in Britain.
We need to celebrate the contributions of the British Bangladeshi restaurant sector and reflect on its future. This is the challenge for a story teller, Ripon Ray.
